Arriving by car
If you are coming to Korčula from the north, the simplest way to reach Marco Polo Village is to use A1 motorway to the Split Exit and taking a ferry from Port of Split to Korčula. The other option is to continue on the A1 motorway until the Ploče Exit and then to take Adriatic Highway (D8). After short ride through Bosnia and Herzegovina and passing Bistrina bridge turn right to leave Adriatic Highway (right next to the petrol station INA) and continue on the D414 road all the way to the little town of Orebić. From there you take a ferry to get you to Korčula island.
From the direction of Dubrovnik you take Adriatic Highway (D8) to reach Pelješac peninsula and D414 road that gets you to the town of Orebić and ferry to Korčula.

Arriving by ship/ferry

Boat lines connect Korčula with various Croatian ports. Some of them are:
  • Ferry lines from Split, Ploče and Orebić
  • High-speed coastal line Rijeka-Korčula-Dubrovnik
  • Catamaran lines Split-Vela Luka, Split-Korčula and Dubrovnik-Korčula
  • 10-minute ferry ride Orebić-Korčula every hour on the hour

Korčula nearest airports are Dubrovnik Airport and Split Airport both convenient to reach the island. From these cities you can take car, bus or ferry to get to Korčula.
